It's being called the most important election of a lifetime, and that might be understating the case.  Alabama is assumed to be a solid "red" state; let's add some blue! Vote for Barack Obama for president, and straight Democratic all the way down the ballot. Note that there are several constitutional amendments. County Democrats are invited to Election Night at Boutwell Auditorium, 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. in the upstairs meeting room, hosted by the Jefferson County Democratic Executive Committee.
